Dr. Samir Shukurov in his office

Biography

Dr. Samir Shukurov

Specialist in endocrinology and metabolic diseases, Director of Avropa International Hospital.

He graduated from the Faculty of General Medicine of Azerbaijan Medical University in 2010 and completed his internship in endocrinology at Bilasuvar District Central Hospital. In 2011–2015 he completed specialty training at the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases of Bezmialem Vakıf University Hospital in Istanbul.

In 2019–2024 he completed doctoral studies at the Department of Therapy of the Aziz Aliyev Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education; his research topic was the effectiveness of cabergoline treatment of prolactinoma and prediction of its outcomes. Alongside clinical practice he has served as chief physician and director at several hospitals and studied management at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Azerbaijan.
