General provisions
This policy explains how your personal data is handled when you use the drsamirshukurov.az website. The website provides information about the professional practice of endocrinologist Samir Shukurov.
Data is processed in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan «On Personal Data».
How the appointment form works
The information you enter in the appointment form (name, phone number, reason for your visit, preferred date and an optional message) is sent over a secure (HTTPS) connection to the website’s server and delivered from there as an email to the doctor’s mailbox. The website has no database — requests are not stored on the server and remain only in the doctor’s email.
To prevent spam and abuse, your IP address is kept briefly — not in readable form but as an irreversible hash — for 1 hour and then deleted.
If you wish, you can also send the same information to the doctor via WhatsApp; in that case the message is processed under WhatsApp’s rules.
We recommend that you do not share detailed sensitive medical information in the form and discuss it with the doctor during your visit instead.
How we use your information
Information you send by phone, WhatsApp or email is used only to respond to your enquiry and to agree on an appointment time.
Your information is not sold, not used for advertising and not passed on to third parties (except where required by law).
Cookies and analytics
The website does not set its own cookies and does not use advertising services.
To understand how the website is used, we use Google Analytics 4. Using Google cookies, it collects general statistics such as page views, device and browser type, approximate location (country/city) and navigation on the site. This data is not used to identify you or for advertising; Google signals and ad personalisation are turned off.
Analytics cookies are set only after you give consent in the site’s cookie banner; without consent Google Analytics runs in a cookieless, aggregated mode. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom of the page (the choice is stored only in your browser).
You can stop Google Analytics from collecting data through your browser’s cookie settings or with Google’s official “Google Analytics Opt-out” browser add-on.
Fonts, images and videos are loaded from the website’s own server.
Third-party services
YouTube videos are shown in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and load only after you start the video.
The map on the Contact page is provided by Google Maps; when the page opens, the map loads from Google’s servers and Google may use its own cookies.
Links to social networks and WhatsApp take you to those platforms, where your data is processed under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information you have sent us and to request its correction or deletion. To do so, write to Show email.
